MISSOURI STATE'S PUBLICATIONS:
DELTAGRAMS
Early on, Missouri State saw the value of a newsletter for members. Records show that in 1947 Mildred Robb of the Publications Committee expressed appreciation to Missouri State for making Deltagrams possible. That year, $76.25 was spent for the expense of printing and mailing Deltagrams.
Today, the Deltagrams is published four times a year and is sent out to you by our chapter's e-mail. A spring issue is published March 1, a summer issue on June 1, the fall issue on September 1 and the winter issue on December 1. During those times, the Deltagrams Editor is very busy compiling news from International officers, State officers, State Committee chairmen, and chapter members.
The spring issue gets members excited for the upcoming State Convention as well as the Leadership Development Workshops offered every other year. Proposed bylaws/standing rules changes are printed in the spring issue as well.
The summer issue highlights the events of the past convention and informs members of the upcoming International Convention or Regional Conference during the summer months.
In the winter issue, Season's Greetings are brought to the members by the State President and presenters are being called for the upcoming convention.
The fall issue highlights the summer meetings that were held both at the state and international levels. The Yellow Pages is also published in the fall.
Each Deltagrams holds State Committee articles, member and chapter news and upcoming dates of importance. Members who have passed away are honored in each issue as well. The Deltagrams is a long-standing and important part of our Delta State history.
