Delta State President's Report 2007-2008 "Sincere appreciation is expressed to all state committee members for their efforts to collaborate at the individual, chapter, coordinating council and at the state level. The president and the state officers are only as strong as the chapters and the state wide committees. The four Area Leadership Workshops will be held in June. Information and registration is on the web. The Leadership Committee work is effective and chapters appreciated the support and visits of the area coordinator. I have enjoyed the council visits that I have been able to attend. I do put a priority on attending an Area Council meeting, chapter with special events and then local chapters. I am heartened by the enthusiasm and passion which show excellence in programming and meetings at the chapter and council levels. Our strength of Delta State lies in the strength and involvement of each individual. The Southeast Area has been the best in preparing for this convention. Thank you to all for your support during this year of my presidency and your participation at this convention." |
