DELTA KAMMA GAMMA'S FOUNDERS
The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International was founded on May 11, 1929, at the Faculty Women's Club at the University of Texas, Austin, Texas. These ladies founded the organization to support women educators and education. They wanted us to be a driving force in the field, changing as the needs and the world change. They wanted to make a difference for women educators--both for their contemporaries and for the future of education.
